Postdoctoral and Research Positions Immediately Available

Post Doctoral and Research Associate positions are immediately available at the Center for Fluorescence Spectroscopy at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland,

Several positions are open for an:

1. Individual with experience and interest in plasmonics and fluorescence.  The research will involve the effect of metallic nanostructures on biochemical fluorophores.

2. Individual with experience and interest in the optical effects of metallic nanostructures. The research will involve the use of near-field optical microscopy to measure local fields.

3. Individual with interest and experience in clinical chemistry. The research will involve the use of metallic structures to incease the sensitivity of clinical assays.

4. Individual with interest and experience in fluorescence spectroscopy and experience with lasers, optics and instrumentation.
